My career in Commercial Financing began at Associates Commercial Corp. It was a great place to work and I learned all aspects of financing equipment. A few years later I obtained my Insurance License and was promoted to Insurance Sales Manager to help customers with their insurance needs. I met many wonderful people while I was there. One of them was Kip Ekker from Kenworth Sales. He eventually hired me to be the Finance and Insurance Manager for the Western States. I also met my husband, Jerry Mika at Kenworth and we always had a goal of owning our own business. After almost 27 years at Kenworth we formed Professional Business Connections dba PBC Finance.

Jerry and I were both born and raised in beautiful Utah. We love to travel, golf, boating, fishing, and spending time with our family and our 3 beautiful granddaughters.

I am super excited for the future of PBC Finance, as continue to grow and add to our Sales team.

Shellie Parker

I grew up in Ogden Utah, graduated with a Finance Degree from Utah State University and have worked in the Corporate Finance world for 25+ years. I am grateful for the many relationships I established throughout my career, but I am excited to try something new.

My husband and I enjoy going to live music, camping in our 5th wheel and RZR riding. I have 2 adult children and a 2½ year old granddaughter that I adore.

I am excited for this opportunity to join PBC Finance, to help customers with their equipment financing needs and to be part of a great team and company.

Jerry Mika

I was born and raised in Sandy Utah. Growing up my father worked at Peterbilt for 39 years. I spent a lot of time around trucks. I have worked in the transportation industry for over 20 years selling commercial truck tires to fleets, dealers, and owner-operators.

In 2008 I met my wife Diane at Kenworth Sales in SLC. We have 3 awesome sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and 3 beautiful granddaughters. We are blessed. We love to travel with our new puppy Jäger, camping, golfing, fishing, and the outdoors.

Diane and I started our company; Professional Business Connections LLC dba PBC Finance in January of 2020. Diane has over 26 years of experience financing trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.

My love of the outdoors has earned a Guinness book of world records for the first ever 360 virtual reality video filmed on the summit of Mt Everest in 2012. In 2007 I was the base camp manager for the strongest team in the history of Mt. Everest. This has taught me to overcome many obstacles in life and in business.

In 2009 Apa Sherpa and I formed the Apa Sherpa Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit. We feed 90 children daily, support teachers wages and currently we are building an orphanage in Nepal for the children.

We pride ourselves on honesty and integrity and helping our customers succeed is our top priority. We are excited for our future as we continue to grow!

Ashley Mangum

I was born and raised most of my life in Utah. I lived in South Dakota for seven years while growing up. We moved to Washington State in 2018. I have a bachelor's degree in accounting. I have several years of experience in banking and the heavy equipment industry. I am blessed to have the relationships that I have made throughout my career.

My husband and I love to go camping, boating, hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with our two amazing little girls. They keep us very busy!  

I am forever grateful for the opportunity to do what I love and to work for an exceptional company like PBC Finance. I am super excited to help customers achieve their commercial financing needs.

Sergei Permyakov

Hi my name is Sergei. I currently live in Salt Lake City, I love camping and a cold one. I have a beautiful wife of 36 years, 2 kids and 2 lovely grandchildren.  

I have experience in truck sales and truck financing. I’ve been owner operating since 2001, I mainly haul RGN and large equipment. I understand the trucking industry inside and out. I will do my best to help get the best deal on financing your new truck, trailer, or any equipment. I am fluent in Russian and Polish.

Originally, from the East Coast, I moved to warmer weather in 2003 to Nevada. There I expanded my knowledge in real estate, brokerage, and finance. Recently moving to the sandy beaches of South Padre Island. I am grateful for all the connections I have made in my career thus far and I’m looking forward to this new opportunity with PBC Finance.

My husband, dog Kona, and I enjoy traveling, lounging on the beautiful beaches of South Padre Island, and fishing on our boat.
